Juli 2019, steht ihnen der international erfolgreiche Saxophonist Wilson de Oliviera f\u00fcr eine Jazz Matinee im Zeichen des Latin zur Seite.<\/p>\n<p>In seinem Heimatland Uruguay ist Wilson de Oliviera ein gefeierter Musiker, wird international f\u00fcr seine musikalische Vielseitigkeit gesch\u00e4tzt und z\u00e4hlt zu den Gr\u00f6\u00dfen der Szene. Er gilt als Botschafter der lateinamerikanischen Musik, der bei seinen Solos stets seine Jazz-Wurzeln offenlegt. Dar\u00fcber hinaus sind in seinen eigenen Kompositionen und Arrangements Eigenheiten des Latin wie etwa der Candombe zu erleben. Hierzulande d\u00fcrfte sich Wilson de Oliviera nicht zuletzt wegen seines langj\u00e4hrigen Engagements in der hr-Bigband in Frankfurt einen Namen gemacht haben.<\/p>\n<p>Programm und Gast der Jazz Matinee verlangen der Uni-Bigband musikalischen Einsatz mit allen Sinnen ab: \u201eDie so einfach klingenden und doch so komplexen Rhythmen wollen verzahnt sein, tanzende Noten wollen wie ein Partner gef\u00fchrt werden und schlie\u00dflich werden alle Musikerinnen und Musiker eine funktionierende Groove-Maschine\u201c, erkl\u00e4rt Markus Schieferdecker mit Vorfreude auf das Konzert, das St\u00fccke von und mit Wilson de Oliviera bereith\u00e4lt.<\/p>\n<p>Die Matinee beginnt um 11 Uhr im Audimax der Universit\u00e4t, Feldkirchenstra\u00dfe 21.
