Juli, zum 55. Folklore Festival in Bitburg erwartet.<\/p>\n<p>Dabei zielt das 1965 erstmals stattgefundene &#8220;Europ\u00e4ische Grenzlandtreffen&#8221; vor allem auf die Zusammenf\u00fchrung von Menschen verschiedenster Nationen und Kulturen ab.<\/p>\n<p>Das im Laufe der Jahre zum &#8220;Europ\u00e4ischen Folklore Festival&#8221; umbenannte Festwochenende wurde in der Vergangenheit auch durch Gruppen aus China, der Mongolei und Neuseeland besucht. Somit wurde der europ\u00e4ische Rahmen unl\u00e4ngst gesprengt und die Veranstaltung hat mehr und mehr internationales Flair bekommen.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Die Welt zu Gast in Bitburg&#8221; lautet das Motto der diesj\u00e4hrigen Ausgabe. Damit dieses Zusammentreffen unbeschwert und mit einem H\u00f6chstma\u00df an Sicherheit stattfinden kann, haben die Stadt Bitburg und die Polizeiinspektion Bitburg ein entsprechendes Sicherheitskonzept entwickelt.<\/p>\n<p>Hierbei werden unter anderem technische Sperren zur Verhinderung der beabsichtigten sowie unbeabsichtigten Einfahrt von unberechtigten Fahrzeugen eingesetzt. Au\u00dferdem werden w\u00e4hrend des Festes Polizeibeamte in Zivil sowie in Uniform auf der Festmeile pr\u00e4sent sein, um unter anderem auch gezielte Jugendschutzkontrollen durchzuf\u00fchren. Die uniformierten Beamten sind dabei mit Videokameras &#8211; so genannten Bodycams &#8211; ausgestattet.<\/p>\n<p>Wir w\u00fcnschen den Bewohnern und G\u00e4sten der Stadt Bitburg unbeschwerte und fr\u00f6hliche Stunden beim Besuch des Europ\u00e4ischen Folklorefestivals 2019.
