November, nach Wolfsburg bringen. Um 19 Uhr stellen sie im Lernzentrum (ehemalige Musikbibliothek im Obergeschoss) des Alvar-Aalto-Kulturhauses traditionelle indische Ragas vor.<\/p>\n<p>Ragas sind in Indien das, was f\u00fcr uns die &#8220;Klassische Musik&#8221; ist. Sie erfreuen sich auch im Westen sp\u00e4testens seit Ravi Shankars legend\u00e4rem Auftritt beim Woodstock-Festival im Jahre 1969 zunehmender Bekannt- und Beliebtheit.<\/p>\n<p>Yogendra an der Sitar ist einer von wenigen deutschen Musikern, der in der Lage ist, authentische indische Raga-Musik zu spielen. Zu verdanken hat er dies einer intensiven Ausbildung bei bedeutenden Sitaristen wie Ali Akbar Khan oder Partha Chatterjee. In der Stadtbibliothek wird er im Duo zusammen mit dem Tabla-Virtuosen Ashis Paul aus Kalkutta zu h\u00f6ren sein. Der Meistersch\u00fcler von Anindo Chatterjee, einem der gr\u00f6\u00dften Tablameister der letzten Jahrzehnte, spielt auf seinen Kegeltrommeln gleicherma\u00dfen einf\u00fchlsame Begleitungen wie auch atemberaubende Soli.<\/p>\n<p>Der Eintritt betr\u00e4gt 10 Euro, erm\u00e4\u00dfigt 8 Euro.
